Looking Well


          Welcome back to the second to last day of our Daily DevLogs! Today we’re going to have a look at the new character models that we’ve been working on.

 

            In order of appearance above this post (assuming I’ve finally got including photos in DevLogs) we are going to start with our torso, followed by the leg and arms. The way the image is payed out allows it to be wrapped around a the 3D models that we have shown in previous posts.

 

            The idea behind using these wraps is that it allows us to have multiple characters made and added on to the same base figurine. This also means that we can allow players to make their own versions of them to add to the game.

 

            Also included is a pic of one of our newly skinned models (albeit without his head) fighting his predecessor in our test scene.

 

            And with that, and with photos being worth a thousand words we are at the end of this short and sweet post, so you have more time to admire Paul’s wonderful art.
