Hello again, again! Apologies for leaving you all hanging for a while there, things got a little crazy over here at Epsilom Team (oh yeah we finally named our team, btw) but that does mean I have a week of daily posts ready for you to feast your eyes upon. Yup that’s right!  A while week worth of posts, and there might even be a special little holiday surprise at the end for you.

            So, as the title of this post suggests, today we’re talking names. We’ve gone through a lot of different names for this game, with Wrestling Forever being our favourite for a little while there. It did what it needed to do, after all. It’s a little Batman, it’s a little “what’s that about”, you know, the works. But as things tend to do, they changed. Maybe it’s because we named our Discord server after the game and got tired of seeing it, maybe its because we just wanted some change, either way, we decided something new. 

            We thought, why not a mononym? It works for all the greats, Madonna, Bono, Cher and Rihanna, so why not us as well? Through this line of though “Jobber” was born. This single word title is meant to provoke the idea of the guy in the wrestling world who’s there to work and make other people looks good. Which is ostensibly what our game is about. The (not so) little guy who makes wrestling truly come to life and gets crowds warmed up on massive world tours. So with this reasoning in the back pocket of our stylish and eye catching entrance looks we went with it. Until we didn’t.

            There’s just something fun about “Wrestling Forever” you know? It has a certain feeling when you say it that this game is going to be an ode to the wrestling you know and live from growing up with it. And that’s the game we want to make. Wrestling is a timeless form of performance, and is something people have enjoyed in some form forever. But wrestling is also about the the people who make it, the people who end up on the mat time after time. Who end up bloodied and bruised to make someone else look better in the ring. We also wanted to include them!

            Can you see where I’m going with this yet?

            There’s also something very fun about titles that have a colon in them. It really brings things together. Because that’s its purpose. And so, we here at Epsilom Team are more than happy to present to you;
